What will I need to pay?
You need to pay tuition and fees based on your course enrolments as of Monday, May 13 for the May Term and Monday, July 1 for the June Term. Please refer to the Finances section of your online student record for a breakdown of your fee assessment.
When do I need to pay?
- May term fees are due Monday, May 13.
- June term fees are due Monday, July 1.
- If you have not paid your fees by these deadlines, a 5% late payment fee will be applied to any outstanding balances.
If Summer Term fees are not paid by Friday, May 24 for the May Term and Friday, July 12 for the June Term, you will be de-registered from your classes and your registration services will be withheld.
How do I pay?
- Online banking: Your account number is your Vancouver Island University student number.
- If your payment is coming from outside of Canada, use "PayMyTuition" in your online student record.
Domestic student sponsorship: please ensure your sponsor emails your sponsorship letter to the Accounts Receivable department (acctsrec@viu.ca) prior to the first day of the semester.
